New Training: Providing Gender-Affirming Care

What’s it about?

If you offer somatic, mental health, medical, and related health and wellness services, it would be helpful to be well-equipped to demonstrate cultural competency when working with members of the transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming community.

Join us on a journey as we learn about, integrate, and embody key concepts, skills, and capabilities that can prepare you and your colleagues to provide gender-affirming support, no matter your role or responsibility in your organization.

What will I learn?

In this program, you will learn:

  • How to create a welcoming clinic, therapeutic, or healing environment for your trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming clients.
  • How to address clients who use gender neutral pronouns.
  • How to discuss trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming clients’ bodies in a way that feels affirming and culturally relevant.

Join us as we explore some of those key building-blocks that will enhance your practice and expand your competence. Time will be available for questions and answers, and you can submit your questions when you register for the program.

What does it cost?

The first session is FREE, and can be accessed HERE. Sessions 2 through 5 (described below) are available individually for $75, or the entire series can be purchased for $200.  If you purchase prior to the recording date, you will be invited to the live coaching session. After the recording date, you will have access to the recording and associated resources.
